BP Kidz

The BP Kidz is the performing arm of the CCP Dance School, the official school of Ballet Philippines. Made up of selected scholars and apprentices under the guidance of school director Noordin Jumalon, the BP Kidz' ages range from as young as 9 years to 17 years old. Officially launched in December 2002, the group has already performed side by side with Ballet Philippines in its 2003 production 'Shoes++' and has participated in performances at the Asian Institute of Makati, The Philippine Star, CITEM, CCP Balletfest, Tribute to National Artist Lucrecia Kasilag, the Ad Congress in Baguio, and the International Parliamentary Union Summit, among others. BP Kidz has performed in key venues around Metro Manila, as well as in Tokyo, Japan for the Department of Tourism's Philippine Trade Fair FIESTA at Yoyogi Park. The BP Kidz' repertoire ranges from classical to neo-classical ballets, character to contemporary, and neo-ethnic to street dance. The group is open to performing at special events.
