Spreading the Message of Hope and Love through Music
Musica Armonica Alumni, Musica Armonica Alumni Choirantine
Musica Armonica Alumni were a church-based group formed in 1988 which served every Sunday at the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Better Living Paranaque up until late 2000s when career and family lives eventually took precedence. While members eventually found themselves in diverse professions, their passion for music endured.
In 2020, when the world was forcibly put on pause by quarantine, the members’ love for singing brought them together and led to their “choirantine” project. With the aid of technology, they put together their individual recordings to produce virtual choral performances as if they were all in one room making music together.
On a deeper level, this endeavor aims to uplift, not just the members’ spirits but that of their audience during these trying times. Singing together has become not only a creative outlet, but has given them the opportunity to inspire and spread the message of hope and love.
