Patreng, as the is fondly called by friends, recounts how the idea of the Community Pantry began, where the phrase that was repeated all over the country came from, how despite being red-tagged and having to seek therapy due to this experience, she continues to work for the Community Pantry as long as there is the need. She likewise gives us a glimpse of the hope she has for the Community Pantry to eventually evolve into safe, loving, and supportive community that the youth, seniors citizens and just about everyone from native Filipinos to the urban poor, can count on.
