Pili Ani Best Dressed Awards at Ballet Philippines’ Limang Daan Gala

The world premiere of Ballet Philippines’ groundbreaking production LIMANG DAAN coincided with International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024.

Patrons and ballet enthusiasts made their way to The Theatre at Solaire to attend the gala performance of this proudly original production. Attendees donned their best “modern Filipino” outfits, which showcased the beauty of local fabrics and iconic silhouettes in a refreshing and stylish manner. The 12 best dressed women were selected by Ballet Philippines, and were given special surprise gifts from Filipino skincare and wellness company Pili Ani.

Ballet Philippines treated VIPs to an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at the Technical Dress Rehearsal of Limang Daan on March 7, one day before the show’s world premiere.

Held at The Theatre at Solaire, attendees gained a rare insight into the intricate creative process behind a ballet production, witnessing the precision and dedication that characterize every aspect of the performance.

The TDR special access pass provided guests the unique opportunity to appreciate the collaborative efforts of dancers, choreographers, and technical teams, offering a sneak peek into the artistry and craftsmanship that will be showcased during the upcoming performances of Limang Daan.

Reminder to Limang Daan Ticket Holders on March 9

As a thoughtful reminder to our dear ticket holders for our Saturday show, please plan your arrival earlier than usual due to the concurrent Ed Sheeran concert at the SMDC concert grounds. Expect increased foot and vehicle traffic on Aseana Avenue.

Solaire management is working diligently to secure parking spaces for all our patrons on that evening, but do note that access is shared with the Ed Sheeran concert-goers.

Your early arrival ensures a seamless start to an evening celebrating the strength of Filipino women throughout Philippine history.
