This year saw a significant surge in COVID numbers, hitting all-time highs in new cases per day, prompting Ballet Philippines to exercise the utmost precaution when allowing Core Dancers to perform together. Yet, despite this roadblock, there were notable productions that not only provided entertainment for those who love ballet, but also shone a spotlight on relevant issues such as patriotism, appreciation of history, mental health awareness and the importance of respect for the environment. Through this, BP dancers call to mind what they are each grateful for and in doing so, set off a spark of gratitude that gives us a renewed hope to face the year ahead with strength, resilience, and excitement for great things to come!
