Alexei is a leading stage master who trained in the Choreographic Department of Saratov Regional School of Arts (2004). His impressive background includes his experience as Laureate of the Regional Theatre Festival “Golden Arlequin” in the years 2009 to 2020.

Alexei has been with the Saratov Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2004 and is considered one of the most talented and bright performers of this ballet troupe. His professional skills include flexibility of expression to help the dancer address a variety of creative tasks. He is adept in both classical ballet and performances of modern choreography.

In 2016 he performed the lead role in the first production in Russia of the ballet written by the esteemed Russian composer, Sergey Prokofiev entitled "Le pas d'acier" or "The Steel Step" (with choreography by K. Simonova). He also performed in the Golden Mask, an all-Russian Performing Arts Festival held in Moscow.

In 2018, the capital party participated in the world premiere of the ballet of V. Kubekin "Hang Water" (choreography by K. Simonova) and his show at the IV Festival of Music Theaters of Russia "See Music" (2019, the New stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia). In 2020, together with Christina Nomadova, he took part in the TV show "Big Ballet" which was aired on the channel
“Russian Culture.”

He received the name scholarship of Governor Saratov Region as well as the Youth Prize. P. A. Stolypin (2009). He also received official thanks from the Ministry of Culture of Saratov Region (2006), Governor of Saratov Region (2009), and Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation (2016).

Mikheev collaborates on performances with ballet troupes in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Petrozavodsk, Astrakhani and has toured countries such as Romania, Germany, Austria, Spain, Greece, and Japan.
