Josie Natori celebrates 45 years in fashion with Ballet Philippines wearing pieces from her Fall/Winter 2022 collection

When The House of Natori was established in 1977, fashion designer Josie Natori sought to bring lingerie to the forefront of fashion. Forty-five years later, the brand has become a global symbol of elegance and sophistication. To celebrate its anniversary, Natori staged its first ever fashion show inspired by elegance and movement. Done in collaboration with Ballet Philippines, pieces from the luxury label’s current collection were worn by dancers. It was a fashion experience that captured the essence of the modern–spirited, elegant, graceful.

On the night of the show, The Conservatory at the Manila Peninsula Hotel was transformed into a performance space for the 10-minute dance presentation. Instead of tutus, ballerinas donned Natori pieces. Ballet Philippines' Artistic Director Mikhail Martynyuk choreographed a piece especially for the occasion, finding inspiration from an East meets West theme. Classic and contemporary music was remixed to symbolize Natori’s evolution over the decades.
