Ballet Philippines Dance School (BPDS) is the official dance school of Ballet Philippines. BPDS is the premier training ground for dance students who wish to pursue a career in dance. Our training program is both rigorous and nurturing. It is rooted in excellence in classical ballet and contemporary dance, developing creativity and artistry, while instilling in the young dancer a sense of generosity, grace, dignity and respect for oneself, for others and for their craft.

For children 3 to 4 years old, Play Dance is a fun introduction into dance. By exploring movement, music, and theater, children strengthen their body, learn to control it, and creatively express themselves while learning how to follow rules, respect others, and stay focused. Each course is composed of 4 sessions.
1. All classes are in-studio (face to face)

Composed of children between 3 to 7 years old, Children’s Ballet develops in the child a love for dance, music, theater and the arts, while preparing their body for the physical requirements of dance training later. By exploring movement, music, and theater, children strengthen their body, learn to control it, and creatively express themselves while learning how to follow rules, respect others, and stay focused.

Please allow us to assess the student during the trial classes prior to finalizing her/his grade level.
Children 8 years old and above learn technique and artistry of classical ballet and contemporary dance. These years are crucial in developing the student’s motivation and discipline while honing their talent and building their confidence.

At around 13 to 18 years old, students now tackle greater challenges to help them meet their goals. This program includes rigorous training in classical ballet and contemporary dance, as well as classes in improvisation, introduction to choreography, pedagogy and theater, among others. Whether they wish to pursue a career as a dancer, teacher, choreographer or take further studies, BPDS will mentor them to be the best dancer they can be. During this time, our students have the unique opportunity to observe, work alongside, and be mentored by Ballet Philippines’ artists and its guests from the global stage. This gives them the opportunity to rise to the ranks of Ballet Philippines.
In addition to our regular training curriculum and recitals, our program offers our students access to masterclasses by global artists, as well as professional performances and showcases.
Full and half scholarships are available by invitation or audition.
It’s never too late to start ballet. Beginner students 15 years old and above and former ballet students will enjoy our Adult Ballet classes to keep them fit while expressing themselves through dance. Our Adult Ballet students take part in our recitals and special performances.
